Foster program
Open your heart & home to animals too young or too sick to be adopted by becoming a foster family. Help us match healthy kittens, cats, puppies, & dogs to their new families!
If you'd like to be part of this rewarding program, fill out our foster application!
If you'd like more information about the foster program, contact us at 352-671-8700, or send us an email.
Can't foster? We still need you! Learn how you can get involved.
Youth foster program
High school students can gain community service hours by participating in our youth foster program.
With a parent's approval & willingness to accept kittens into the family home, a student can gain 10 service hours per week toward graduation requirements for community service.
To be considered for this program, complete an application (see below link). If approved, students will be expected to feed, water, clean, & socialize the kittens to ready them for adoption.
Fostered kittens are returned to us when they are eight weeks of age and healthy. This program does not include nursing kittens; only kittens that can eat solid food. Students must be 16 years of age or older.
To apply for this program, please complete an application.
