Looking for a pet to adopt? Visit the our Facebook page for current specials!

Our guests in the adoption wings do not have time limits. They generally can remain available for adoption as long as they are healthy & friendly, or until they find homes. However, due to the need for Animal Services to place animals in a timely manner, we do not place "holds" on animals. We do offer adoption trials, generally a two-week period, so you can see if the pet is right for you. Please ask our staff for more information. If you see a pet on our stray pages and want to adopt, we can offer a pre-adoption, which means when it becomes available and has been sterilized, you can take it home. If an owner come forward while it is still in our care, the pre-adoption will be cancelled and you will be notified.

Rescue groups are asked to help us by taking animals that have special needs or may be otherwise difficult to place. If your rescue group would like to work with our agency, please email us to start the process!
